EOTC Fishing

On Thursday the 28th of November almost our whole school went to the Mangonui Harbour. First we got to the Mangonui boardwalk and I got my hook stuck to a rock. Then we had to snap it of and put a new hook on it. After a few minutes we went to the wharf.

On Thursday we went to coopers beach for EOTC. It took about 35 minutes to get there.

Country Study

WALT: Research facts about the R.W.C. countries.

My school had to research about different countries my one was France they are so fun to research about. I also had two buddies Fern and Cody(click to go to blogs)

Reflection:I had fun being with my friends for this and my teacher from last year is french. Next time I could do more detail and information.

Reflection:I love the first picture that i put on with the Colorado River and the writing. But I could do better next time.

My Amazing Holiday

We had to write about our holiday lots of exciting things happened to me over my holidays.

Reflection:I love how I found the perfect pictures for my slide and I loved writing my holiday. It was complicating using remove PNG because I didn't really know what to do.

Filming With The Class.

WALT : Use Te Reo sport vocabulary and use iMovie to create a film

Reflection: I had fun filming maori vocabulary.

Running At Cross Country

Reflection: When I was at cross country I had fun running with my friends.It was really exhausting because I had to do 1 long lap and 1 short lap.

WALT :Add and subtract decimal fractions. Reflection: I had fun adding and subtracting decimal fractions. But it was a bit hard because there not normal numbers there decimals. What is your favourite subject at school?

Kaimanawa Horses

In our class we had to make a film. Our film is called... KAIMANAWA HORSES. We had so much fun we are doing this to enter movies into the Manakalani film festival.

Question: Do you like filming?

WALT: Use iMovie to create a film. Edit and add audio to our movie.

Reflection: I had fun filming with all of my friends. It was hard getting the right angles and shots.

Planting At Rangikapiti

On Thursday 29th of August 2019 me and my class went with a junior class to Rangikapiti Pa to plant trees for our native birds. 

Reflection: I had so much fun and we budded up with a junior kid, my buddy was my cousin Teena Louise. Her mum and dad came to help us. Then we went for a walk up Rangikapiti, me and my friend Porsha got to do filming as well.

Writing a Paragraph About An Organ.

 

WALT: We learnt how to write a paragraph using the TEXT format.

We had to write a paragraph about a specific organ with a buddy. Me and my buddy done the heart. We had so much fun learning fun facts about the heart.

This is our paragraph:

The heart is one of the most important organs in the human body ,continuously pumping blood around our body through blood vessels.Our heart is located in your chest and is well protected by your rib cage.Your heart is the size of your fist. It also pumps blood through your body.
There are four valves in the human heart, they ensure that blood only goes one way, either in or out.

Question: What is your favourite organ. 

Reflection: I enjoyed learning about organs. Next time I will write more facts.
