Math Shopping

WALT: Add decimal fractions and understand place value.

My class and I went make believe shopping. There was an option between three shops Rebel Sports,The warehouse and Kmart. I chose The warehouse and Kmart.

Reflection: I enjoyed learning different strategies and adding decimal fractions. But next time I will try make it more difficult.

WALT: Write onomatopoeia to portray 'orange' as an emotion.

Me and my class created a short animation and used https://talltweets.com/  to make it look like a gif. Our max of slides was twenty.

Reflection: I enjoyed using shapes to make different objects. The only thing that I would change is the bow but other then that I love my animation.

Christmas Cheer

WALT: Create our own PNG image on google slides and create a video using green screen.

Reflection: We went on our drive and started doing some art. It was hard because I had to do it all in one day. It was fun using the green screen with a little help from my friend Fern Tracey

EOTC Fishing

On Thursday the 28th of November almost our whole school went to the Mangonui Harbour. First we got to the Mangonui boardwalk and I got my hook stuck to a rock. Then we had to snap it of and put a new hook on it. After a few minutes we went to the wharf.

On Thursday we went to coopers beach for EOTC. It took about 35 minutes to get there.
